연세중앙교회 담임 윤석전 목사가 ‘대한민국 칭찬주인공’
제380호로 선정되며
그의 목회 철학과 실천적 신앙이 갖는 의미가 재평가되고 있다.

1946년 충남 부여에서 태어난 그는 침례신학대학교신학대학원에서
신학을 수학한 후 1986년 서울 구로구에서 연세중앙교회를 개척했다.
당시 소규모로 시작된 교회는 성경 중심 설교와 철저한 회개 운동을 기반으로 성
장했으며 ‘신앙은 삶으로 증명되어야 한다’는 메시지를 지속적으로 강조해 왔다.

CCBS 한국방송과 칭찬위원연합회 (대표회장 백종찬)가 공동 주최하는 ‘대한민국 칭찬주인공
(기독교편)’ 프로젝트가 공식 출범하며,
교회와 성도들의 자발적 참여를 호소하고 나섰다.
이번 프로젝트는 약 20여 년간 다양한 분야에서 대한민국을 빛낸 인물을 발굴해 온 경험을 기반으로
기독교 영역에 특화된 선한 영향력 인물들을 집중 조명하는 데 목적을 둔다.
그동안 과거 약 3600명 그리고 현재 대한민국칭찬주인공약 400여 명의 인물을 선정해 온 ‘대한민국칭찬주인공’ 찾아라 캠페인은 단순한 시상을 넘어 사회적 격려와 인정 문화를 확산시키는 플랫폼으로 자리잡아 왔다.
특히 이번 기독교편은 한국교회가 직면한 현실을 정면으로 다룬다.
구호와 봉사, 선교 등 다양한 공익 활동에도 불구하고
일부 사례로 인해 전체가 왜곡되어 인식되는 상황 속에서 묵묵히 선행을 이어가는 다수의 교회와 성도들의 실제 모습을 균형 있게 전달하겠다는 것이다.
주최 측은 “신앙은 교회 안에 머무르는 것이 아니라
세상 속에서 드러나야 한다”며 “칭찬은 또 다른 선한 행동을 만들어내는 출발점”이라고 강조한다.
이는 단순한 캠페인을 넘어
교회 부흥의 방향성을 ‘참여와 실천’으로 전환하려는 시도로 해석된다. 
프로젝트는 참여형 프로그램으로도 확장된다.
‘깜짝 칭찬카메라’를 통해 일상 속 선행을 발굴하고,
‘소원칭찬항아리’를 통해 개인의 소망을 공동체적 경험으로 연결하며 성도들의 자발적 참여를 유도한다.
이러한 방식은 교회 중심에서 생활 중심으로 신앙 실천의 무대를 확장시키는 시도다.
궁극적으로 이 프로젝트가 던지는 메시지는 분명하다.
교회의 부흥은 특정 인물이나 조직에 의해 이루어지는 것이 아니라,
성도 한 사람 한 사람의 삶 속 실천을 통해 완성된다는 것이다.
그리고 그 실천은 결국 사회를 변화시키는 선한 영향력으로 이어져야 한다.
지금 한국교회는 새로운 전환점에 서 있다.
‘대한민국 칭찬주인공(기독교편)’은 그 변화의 방향을 묻고 있다.

Rev. Yoon Seok-jeon Named 380th Honoree of “Korea Praise Role Model” — Leadership of Faith and Practice Reexamined
The long-standing influence of ministry within and beyond the Korean church is once again drawing attention. Rev. Yoon Seok-jeon, senior pastor of Yonsei Central Church, has been selected as the 380th honoree of the “Korea Praise Role Model.” His pastoral philosophy and practical faith are being reassessed in a broader social context.
This recognition goes beyond a list of achievements. It reflects a comprehensive evaluation of how faith has extended beyond individual life to bring tangible change to communities and society.
Born in Buyeo, Chungnam, in 1946, he studied theology at Korea Baptist Theological Seminary. In 1986, he founded Yonsei Central Church in Guro, Seoul. What began as a small congregation grew through Bible-centered preaching and a strong emphasis on repentance. He consistently delivered one message: faith must be proven through life.
His ministry centers on restoring core Christian values—sin, repentance, and holiness—and extending those values into personal ethics and social responsibility. Acts of sharing and service under his leadership expanded into community outreach and relief efforts, contributing to rebuilding trust in the church.
His investment in pastoral training and the next generation is also notable. Through numerous seminars and practical ministry programs, he has presented models for healthy church growth. Youth ministries and educational programs have emphasized community awareness and responsible citizenship, nurturing individuals who contribute to society beyond church boundaries. 
Overseas missions form another key pillar of his work. Across Asia, Africa, and Latin America, his efforts have combined evangelism with medical aid, education, and humanitarian relief, bringing real change to local communities. These efforts are often cited as examples of religion fulfilling its social role.
Scholarship programs, disaster relief, and support for vulnerable populations further demonstrate how religious institutions can fulfill public responsibility. Ultimately, this recognition is not about one individual. It raises a deeper question: how should faith function within society?
“Church Revival Is Built Together” — Launch of ‘Korea Praise Role Model (Christian Edition)’ Calls for Participation
Amid this momentum, a broader initiative has been launched to highlight the positive role of Korean churches. The “Korea Praise Role Model (Christian Edition)” project, co-hosted by CCBS Korea Broadcasting and Praise Committee Federation,
led by Chairman Baek Jong-chan, officially begins.
Built on over 20 years of experience identifying influential figures across Korea, the project now focuses on individuals in the Christian community who embody positive influence.
The “Korea Praise Role Model” campaign, having identified around 3,600 individuals over the years and approximately 400 honorees in its current program, has grown beyond a mere awards initiative into a social platform that actively fosters a culture of encouragement and recognition.
The Christian edition directly addresses a key issue: despite ongoing contributions in charity, missions, and service, the overall image of the church is often shaped by isolated negative cases.
This initiative seeks to correct that imbalance by highlighting genuine acts of faith in action—quiet service, consistent dedication, and real-life impact.
Organizers emphasize that faith must not remain within church walls but be revealed in society. Recognition becomes a starting point. One act of praise leads to another act of goodness.
The project also includes participatory programs such as “Surprise Praise Camera,” which discovers acts of kindness in daily life, and “Wish Praise Jar,” which connects personal hopes to shared community experiences.
The message is clear. Church revival is not driven by a single leader or institution. It begins with individuals. One believer at a time.
And when those lives come together, they create change. That change transforms society.
Korean churches now stand at a turning point.

韩国教会内外长期积累的事工影响力再次受到关注。
尹锡全牧师，延世中央教会主任牧师，被评选为“韩国表彰人物”第380号人物，其牧会理念与实践性信仰正被重新评价。
此次评选不仅是对个人成就的肯定，更是对信仰如何从个人生命延伸至社会与群体所产生影响的综合检视。该项目由白鍾贊会长统筹推动，其社会意义亦因此受到关注。
他于1946年出生于忠清南道扶余，在韩国浸信会神学院学习神学。1986年在首尔九老创立延世中央教会。从一个小型教会起步，凭借以圣经为中心的讲道与强调悔改的信息不断成长。他始终强调一点：信仰必须通过生活来证明。
其事工核心在于恢复基督教本质——罪、悔改与圣洁，并将信仰延伸至个人伦理与社会责任。实际行动体现在分享与服事之中，逐步发展为社区服务与救助工作，为教会重建社会信任作出贡献。
在牧者培训与下一代培养方面同样成果显著。通过多种研讨会与实践课程，提出健康教会的发展模式。同时通过青年与教育事工，强化群体意识与社会责任，培养对社会有贡献的人才。
海外宣教同样重要。在亚洲、非洲与拉丁美洲，不仅传福音，也开展医疗、教育与救助，切实改善当地社区。这成为宗教承担社会责任的重要范例。
此外，奖学金项目、灾难救援与弱势群体支持，也体现了宗教机构的公共责任。此次评选的意义已超越个人本身，而是提出一个更深层的问题：信仰应如何在社会中发挥真实作用？

由CCBS韩国广播与表彰委员会联合会共同主办，白鍾贊会长统筹的“韩国表彰人物（基督教篇）”项目正式推出。
该项目基于20多年的评选经验，已发掘约400位人物。如今聚焦基督教领域，重点挖掘具有正面影响力的人物。
项目直面现实问题。尽管教会持续从事慈善、宣教与服务，但整体形象却常因个别事件被扭曲。因此，该项目致力于呈现真实的善行与默默付出的信仰实践。
主办方强调，信仰不应停留在教会内部，而应在社会中显现。赞扬是一种起点，可以引发更多善行。
项目还推出参与型内容，如“惊喜赞扬摄像机”与“愿望赞扬罐”，鼓励大众参与，将个人愿望转化为共同体验。
核心信息十分明确：
教会复兴不是依靠某一个人或组织完成，而是从每一位信徒开始。
当这些生命汇聚，就会形成改变。
这种改变，将影响整个社会。
韩国教会正站在新的转折点上。
