“목회는 복음인가 섬김인가 권력인가.”
지금 사람들은 화려한 설교보다 목회자의 삶을 먼저 바라본다.
강단의 언어보다 삶의 태도를 본다.
교회의 크기보다 목회자의 눈물과 책임을 본다.
1. 김문훈 목사는 누구인가
김문훈 목사는 포도원교회를 오랜 기간 이끌어온 부산 지역 대표 대형교회 목회자 가운데 한 사람이다.
1956년 경북 문경 출생으로 알려져 있으며 고신대학교와 고려신학대학원에서 수학했다.
부산기독교총연합회 대표회장과 예장 고신 부총회장 등을 맡으며 교단과 지역 교계 안에서 상당한 영향력을 행사해 왔다.
오랜 집회 사역과 특유의 직설적 화법으로 대중적 인지도를 얻었고
부산 지역 복음화 운동과 연합 활동에도 적극적으로 참여했다는 평가를 받는다.
반면 최근에는 부교역자 폭언 및 욕설 논란으로 교계 전체에 큰 충격을 안겼다.
결국 담임목사직과 교단 부총회장직에서 사임 의사를 밝히며 논란의 중심에 섰다.
2. 강단은 복음인가 정치인가
목회자는 말씀으로 사람을 살려야 한다.
그러나 교회의 규모가 커지고 영향력이 커질수록 강단은 때때로 복음보다 권력의 무대가 되기도 한다.
김문훈 목사의 경우 교단 정치와 연합기관 활동에서 강한 존재감을 보여 왔다.
지지자들은 말한다.
“교회를 지키기 위해 강단 밖에서도 싸우는 목회자다.”
그러나 비판하는 사람들은 말한다.
“강한 카리스마가 결국 수직적 구조와 권위주의 문화를 만들었다.”
특히 최근 공개된 폭언 논란은 한국교회 안에 깊이 숨겨져 있던 권위주의 목회 문화를 다시 드러냈다는 지적이 나온다.
설교에서는 사랑과 은혜를 말하지만 실제 현장에서는 상처와 두려움이 존재했다면 그것은 결코 가볍게 넘어갈 문제가 아니다.
교회가 커질수록 목회자의 언어는 더 조심해야 한다.
강단의 한마디는 성도의 영혼을 살리기도 하지만 평생 지워지지 않는 상처가 되기도 한다.
3. 지역사회를 살리고 있는가
포도원교회는 부산 지역에서 선교와 구제 그리고 연합사역에 꾸준히 참여해 온 것으로 알려져 있다.
지역 복음화 집회와 사회봉사 활동 그리고 다양한 기독교 연합 행사에도 적극적이었다는 평가가 있다.
그러나 지역사회는 이제 단순한 교세 확장을 원하지 않는다.
사람들은 묻고 있다.
“교회가 정말 약자의 편에 서고 있는가.”
“목회자의 영향력이 사람을 살리고 있는가.”
“교회 안의 상처받은 사람들은 보호받고 있는가.”
교회의 외형 성장보다 중요한 것은 내부의 건강함이다.
진짜 부흥은 숫자가 아니라 사람의 회복에서 시작된다.
4. 현재 이웃의 소리
성도의 소리
“설교를 통해 은혜를 많이 받았다.”
“삶이 변화되었다.”
“교회를 위해 헌신한 부분은 인정해야 한다.”
반면 다른 목소리도 존재한다.
“권위적인 분위기가 힘들었다.”
“상처받고 떠난 사람들의 이야기도 들어야 한다.”
“목회자는 더 높은 도덕성과 언어의 책임을 가져야 한다.”
시민의 소리
“교회가 세상과 다르다고 말하지만 실제로는 권력 구조와 크게 다르지 않아 보인다.”
“한국교회가 이제는 진짜 회개와 투명성을 보여야 한다.”
언론의 소리
일부 언론은 김문훈 목사의 사임과 원로목사 추대 과정을 집중 보도하며
한국교회의 구조적 문제를 지적했다.
반면 교회 내부에서는 “공보다 과만 부각된다”는 반발도 있었다.
5. 결론 칼럼
오늘 한국교회는 중대한 갈림길에 서 있다.
사람들은 더 이상 큰 교회만 존경하지 않는다.
유명한 설교만 따라가지 않는다.
이제는 목회자의 인격과 책임 그리고 공동체의 건강함을 본다.
김문훈 목사 사건은 단순히 한 사람의 문제가 아니다.
이것은 한국교회 전체가 돌아봐야 할 거울이다.
강한 리더십은 필요하다.
그러나 사랑 없는 권위는 결국 상처를 남긴다.
교회는 세상 위에 군림하는 조직이 아니라 눈물 흘리는 사람 곁에 서는 공동체여야 한다.
회개 없는 부흥은 오래가지 못한다.
겸손 없는 권위는 무너진다.
복음 없는 성공은 결국 껍데기에 불과하다.

CCBS Investigative Report asks the Korean Church:
“Is ministry the Gospel, service, or power?”
Today, people look at a pastor’s life before admiring eloquent sermons.
More than words from the pulpit, they observe attitudes in life.
More than the size of a church, they examine a pastor’s tears and sense of responsibility.
1. Who Is Pastor Kim Moon-hoon?
Kim Moon-hoon has led Podowon Church for many years and is considered one of the representative megachurch pastors in the Busan region.
He is known to have been born in Mungyeong, North Gyeongsang 
Province, in 1956, and studied at Kosin University and Korea Theological Seminary.
He served as president of the Busan Christian Council and vice moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Korea (Kosin), exercising considerable influence within both his denomination and the regional Christian community.
Through long-running revival meetings and his uniquely direct speaking style, he gained public recognition and was actively involved in evangelization movements and church unity activities in the Busan area.
However, more recently, allegations involving verbal abuse and harsh language toward assistant pastors caused major shock throughout Korean Christianity.
Eventually, he announced his resignation from both the senior pastor position and the vice moderator role, placing himself at the center of controversy.
2. Is the Pulpit About the Gospel or Power?
A pastor is meant to save people through the Word.
However, as churches and influence grow larger, the pulpit can sometimes become a stage for power rather than the Gospel.
In Pastor Kim Moon-hoon’s case, he demonstrated a strong presence in denominational politics and church alliance organizations.
Supporters describe him as:
“A pastor willing to fight outside the pulpit to protect the church.”
Critics, however, argue:
“His strong charisma ultimately created a vertical structure and authoritarian culture.”
In particular, the recently exposed verbal abuse controversy brought renewed attention to the deeply rooted authoritarian pastoral culture hidden within Korean churches.
If sermons preached love and grace while real-life ministry environments contained fear and wounds, this cannot be dismissed lightly.
The larger a church becomes, the more carefully a pastor’s words must be spoken.
A single sentence from the pulpit can heal a soul,
but it can also leave wounds that last a lifetime.
3. Is the Church Serving the Local Community?
Podowon Church is known for its ongoing participation in missions, charity work, and church unity ministries throughout the Busan region.
It has also been positively evaluated for revival meetings, community service, and various Christian coalition events.
However, local communities no longer seek mere church expansion.
People are now asking:
“Is the church truly standing with the weak?”
“Is pastoral influence actually saving lives?”
“Are wounded people inside the church being protected?”
More important than external growth is internal health.
True revival begins not with numbers, but with the restoration of people.
4. Voices from the Community
Voices from Church Members
“I received much grace through his sermons.”
“My life changed.”
“His dedication to the church should be acknowledged.”
At the same time, other voices exist:
“The authoritarian atmosphere was difficult.”
“The stories of those who were hurt and left should also be heard.”
“Pastors should carry greater moral responsibility and accountability in their speech.”
Voices from Citizens
“Churches claim to be different from the world, yet their power structures often seem very similar.”
“The Korean Church now needs to demonstrate genuine repentance and transparency.”
Media Perspectives
Some media outlets intensively covered Pastor Kim Moon-hoon’s resignation and his appointment as senior advisory pastor, pointing to structural problems within Korean Christianity.
Meanwhile, some within the church argued that:
“His contributions are being overshadowed by criticism.”
5. Concluding Column
The Korean Church now stands at a critical crossroads.
People no longer admire large churches alone.
They no longer follow only famous sermons.
Now they examine a pastor’s character, responsibility, and the health of the community.
The controversy surrounding Pastor Kim Moon-hoon is not merely one person’s issue.
It is a mirror the entire Korean Church must face.
Strong leadership may be necessary.
But authority without love ultimately leaves wounds.
The church should not be an organization ruling above the world,
but a community standing beside those who weep.
Revival without repentance does not last.
Authority without humility collapses.
Success without the Gospel is ultimately nothing more than an empty shell.

韩国教会人物探访 —— 金文勋牧师篇
CCBS调查报道向韩国教会提出问题：
“牧会究竟是福音、服侍，还是权力？”
如今，人们在赞叹华丽讲道之前，更先观察牧师的生活。
比起讲台上的语言，
人们更关注生活中的态度。
比起教会规模，
人们更看重牧师的眼泪与责任感。
1. 金文勋牧师是谁？
Kim Moon-hoon长期带领Podowon Church，被视为釜山地区具有代表性的大型教会牧师之一。
据了解，他于1956年出生于庆尚北道闻庆市，毕业于高神大学与高丽神学院。
他曾担任釜山基督教联合会代表会长以及韩国长老会（高神派）副总会长，在宗派与地方教界拥有相当影响力。
通过长期的复兴聚会以及其直接鲜明的讲道风格，他获得了广泛知名度，并积极参与釜山地区福音化运动与教会联合活动。
然而，近期关于对副牧师言语辱骂与粗暴言辞的争议，给韩国教界带来了巨大冲击。
最终，他宣布辞去主任牧师与副总会长职务，成为争议焦点。
2. 讲台是在传福音，还是在行使权力？
牧师本应通过神的话语拯救人。
然而，当教会规模与影响力越来越大时，讲台有时也可能变成权力舞台，而不再只是福音讲台。
金文勋牧师在宗派政治与教会联合机构中展现了强烈存在感。
支持者认为：
“他是一位为了守护教会，愿意走出讲台争战的牧者。”
但批评者则指出：
“强烈的个人魅力最终形成了垂直结构与权威主义文化。”
尤其近期曝光的辱骂争议，再次揭露了长期隐藏于韩国教会中的权威主义牧会文化。
如果讲台上讲的是爱与恩典，
而现实中却存在伤害与恐惧，
那绝不是可以轻轻带过的问题。
教会越大，牧师的话语越需要谨慎。
讲台上的一句话，
既可能拯救灵魂，
也可能留下终生无法抹去的伤痕。
3. 教会是否真正服侍社区？
Podowon Church长期参与釜山地区的宣教、慈善与联合事工。
教会也被评价积极参与地区福音化聚会、社会服务以及各种基督教联合活动。
然而，社区如今已经不再满足于单纯的教势扩张。
人们正在发问：
“教会真的站在弱者一边吗？”
“牧者的影响力真的在拯救人吗？”
“教会内部受伤的人是否得到保护？”
比起外在增长，更重要的是内部健康。
真正的复兴，不是从人数开始，
而是从人的恢复开始。

信徒的声音
“我从他的讲道中得到了很多恩典。”
“我的人生发生了改变。”
“他对教会的奉献值得肯定。”
但同时也有不同声音：
“权威主义氛围令人痛苦。”
“那些受伤离开之人的故事也应该被倾听。”
“牧师应该承担更高的道德标准与语言责任。”
市民的声音
“教会说自己与世界不同，但实际上权力结构看起来并没有太大区别。”
“韩国教会现在必须展现真正的悔改与透明。”
媒体的声音
部分媒体集中报道了金文勋牧师辞职以及被推举为元老牧师的过程，并指出韩国教会存在的结构性问题。
另一方面，教会内部也有人反驳：
“他的功劳被过度忽视，只剩下批评被放大。”

韩国教会如今正站在重要的十字路口。
人们已经不再单纯尊敬大型教会。
也不再只追随知名讲道。
如今，人们更看重牧师的人格、责任感以及共同体的健康。

没有谦卑的权威终将崩塌。
没有福音的成功，终究
只是空壳。
