목회자의 삶과 재정의 투명성 그리고 약자를 대하는 태도를 먼저 바라본다.
강단의 언어보다 삶의 흔적을 검증하는 시대다.
1. 기본 인물 검증
이영훈 목사는 1954년생으로 현재 여의도순복음교회 담임목사로 활동하고 있다.
고(故) 조용기 목사의 뒤를 이어 세계 최대 규모 교회 가운데 하나로 알려진 여의도순복음교회를 이끌고 있으며 한국기독교교회협의회와 교계 연합 활동에서도 영향력을 행사하고 있다.
국내외 선교와 복지 사역 그리고 기도운동을 강조하며 한국 오순절 교단의 대표 인물로 평가받는다. 재난구호와 장학사업 그리고 사회봉사 활동 역시 지속적으로 이어왔다.
그러나 동시에 초대형교회 중심 구조와 세습 논란 이후의 리더십 문제

반면 일부 성도들은 말한다.
“교회가 너무 커지면서 사람 냄새가 줄어든 것 같다.”
“거대한 조직 안에서 평범한 성도는 점점 작아진다.”
시민의 소리
“사회봉사와 기부 활동은 긍정적으로 본다.”
“하지만 대형교회 자체가 이미 하나의 권력처럼 느껴진다.”
일부 시민들은 강하게 말한다.
“교회가 클수록 더 낮아져야 한다.”
언론의 소리
언론은 이영훈 목사를 두고 “한국교회를 대표하는 영향력 있는 지도자”라고 평가한다. 동시에 초대형교회 구조와 교계 권력 집중 그리고 공공성 문제는 지속적인 검증 대상이라고 분석한다.

“Is ministry about the Gospel, service, or power?”
Today, people are no longer impressed merely by glamorous sermons or massive church buildings.
They first examine a pastor’s life, financial transparency, and attitude toward the weak.
This is an era that verifies the traces of life more than the words spoken from the pulpit.
1. Basic Background Verification
Pastor Lee Young-hoon, born in 1954, currently serves as the senior pastor of Yoido Full Gospel Church.
Following the late Pastor Cho Yong-gi, he now leads one of the world’s largest churches and continues to hold influence through Korean Christian councils and church coalition activities.
He is regarded as a representative figure of Korean Pentecostalism, emphasizing overseas missions, welfare ministries, and prayer movements.
The church has also continuously engaged in disaster relief, scholarship programs, and social service activities.
However, criticism also exists regarding the megachurch-centered structure, leadership issues after succession controversies, and the enormous influence of the church itself.
Some question whether “the church has become too much of a power structure.”

“牧会是福音、服侍，还是权力？”

如今，人们已经不再仅仅被华丽的讲道和庞大的教会建筑所感动。
