“목회는 복음인가 섬김인가 권력인가”
CCBS 탐사보도는 한국교회를 향해 묻는다.
“오늘의 강단은 과연 복음을 전하고 있는가 아니면 영향력과 권력을 확대하는 무대가 되어가고 있는가.”
지금 사람들은 화려한 설교보다 목회자의 삶을 먼저 바라본다.
큰 교회보다 진실한 교회를 찾고 있다.
성도 수보다 눈물의 기도를 찾고 있다.
1. 기본 인물 검증
소강석 목사는 전북 남원 출생으로 알려져 있으며 대한예수교장로회 합동 총회장과 한국교회총연합 대표회장을 역임했다.
현재 새에덴교회 담임목사로 활동 중이며 한국교회 안에서 영향력 있는 대형교회 목회자 가운데 한 사람으로 평가받는다.
1988년 개척 이후 교세를 크게 확장했고 보훈행사와 국가 관련 행사에도 적극 참여해 왔다. 동시에 정치적 발언과 교계 현안 개입으로 늘 논란의 중심에도 서 있었다.
2. 강단은 복음인가 정치인가
교회 강단은 사람을 살리는 곳이어야 한다.
그러나 오늘날 일부 대형교회 강단은 정치와 이념의 언어가 점점 강해지고 있다는 비판도 나온다.

그러나 시민들은 이제 묻는다.
“교회의 크기보다 지역의 눈물을 얼마나 품고 있는가.”
“거대한 건물보다 작은 사람들의 상처를 얼마나 돌보고 있는가.”
교회는 예배당 안의 박수보다 골목의 신음소리에 먼저 반응해야 한다.

성도의 소리
“설교는 뜨겁고 영향력이 크다.”
“한국교회를 위해 목소리를 내는 지도자다.”
시민의 소리
“교회가 너무 정치적으로 보인다.”
“대형교회는 사회적 책임을 더 무겁게 져야 한다.”
언론의 시선
“강한 리더십과 대외 활동”이라는 평가와 함께 “정치적 논란과 교계 권력화 우려”도 동시에 따라다닌다.
5. 결론 칼럼
오늘 한국교회는 위기다.
사람들은 설교를 듣기 전에 목회자의 삶을 검색한다.
십자가보다 권력을 사랑하는 순간 교회는 세상의 신뢰를 잃는다.
목회자는 왕이 아니다.
목회자는 울고 있는 사람의 발을 씻기는 종이어야 한다.

CCBS Investigative Report asks the Korean Church:
“Is today’s pulpit truly preaching the Gospel, or is it becoming a stage for expanding influence and power?”
Today, people look at a pastor’s life before listening to sermons.
They seek sincere churches rather than simply large churches.
They look for tearful prayers more than the number of church members.
1. Basic Background Verification
Pastor So Gang-seok is known to have been born in Namwon, Jeollabuk-do.
He previously served as the General Assembly President of the Presbyterian Church of Korea (Hapdong) and as the Representative President of the Korean Church Leaders Association.
Currently, he serves as the senior pastor of Sae Eden Church and is regarded as one of the influential megachurch pastors in Korea.
Since founding the church in 1988, he greatly expanded the church and actively participated in veterans’ events and national ceremonies.
At the same time, he has often stood at the center of controversy due to political remarks and involvement in church-related social issues.
2. Is the Pulpit About the Gospel or Politics?
The church pulpit should be a place that gives life to people.
However, criticism has emerged that some megachurch pulpits are increasingly filled with political and ideological language.

“牧会是福音、服侍，还是权力？”
CCBS调查报道向韩国教会提出问题：
“今天的讲台，究竟是在传讲福音，还是正在成为扩张影响力与权力的舞台？”
如今，人们在听讲道之前，首先会观察牧师的生活。
他们寻找的不是规模庞大的教会，而是真实诚恳的教会。
他们渴望的不是人数增长，而是流泪祷告的信仰。
1. 基本人物背景核实
据悉，苏康锡牧师出生于韩国全罗北道南原市。
他曾担任大韩耶稣教长老会（合同派）总会长以及韩国教会总联合会代表会长。
目前，他担任新伊甸教会主任牧师，被视为韩国教会中具有代表性影响力的大型教会牧者之一。
自1988年开拓教会以来，他大幅扩展了教会规模，并积极参与国家纪念活动及退伍军人相关活动。
